Scholarships and grants for graduate students
Whether you are a French or international student and whatever your study program is (master's, PhD tracks etc.), financial support is available for you.
Here you’ll find useful information about three types of financial aids designed for different kinds of study projects and students from low-income families:
- Scholarships
- Mobility grants
- Social criteria grants
Scholarships for graduate students vary depending on one’s school, degree programs, and specific enrollment status.
Listed below are five types of scholarships provided or co-funded by ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ and its member schools and fellowships offered by the French government. They are open for the academic year 2024-2025. Please refer to the link of each scholarship for updated details and contact information.
1) ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ Graduate Programs Excellence Grants
Several PSL Graduate Programs award scholarships to M1 or/and M2 students based on their excellent academic performance, motivation and (in some cases) financial situation.
Some scholarships are open for specific tracks and levels of study. Please refer to the graduate program’s web page or contact the head of the program for detailed information

²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ offers 5-year fully funded programs from Master’s to Doctorate level covering seven research fields.

Applicable PSL degree programs/schools: Non-EU Students (whose tax residence is outside the European Economic Area) enrolled in a grand établissement degree (DGE) program with a flexible fee structure at Dauphine-PSL. The scholarship can only be used for a partial (50%) or total tuition exemption in the second year of the Master’s program.

5) Government scholarships
French government scholarships are granted by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Most scholarships are awarded by the Cooperation and Cultural Action Departments (SCACs) in French embassies and consulates general abroad. Applicants should directly contact the SCAC in their country of origin for information about available scholarships, eligibility, and selection procedures.
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs also awards scholarships under specific programs as listed below
Eligibility: International students in their final year of a French high school abroad recognized and accredited by the French Ministry of National Education

Applicable PSL degree programs/ schools: Most of PSL’s member schools accept and support applications for the Eiffel Scholarship (see the list below). Not all fields of study and degree programs are eligible. Please refer to the web page of each school for detailed information.
Application Process: By nomination. French higher education institutions preselect candidates and then submit applications via Campus France. To learn about the procedures and application deadlines, please contact Campus France in your country of origin and the International Relations Office of the host school of the program you wish to apply. The preselection of candidates usually takes place around October/November.

PSL's member schools, the European Commission, the French government, and regional authorities provide different kinds of outgoing mobility grants to increase students' international competitiveness. Several PSL's schools also offer incoming mobility grants for international students who come to pursue their studies in France.

Applicable PSL Schools/ degree programs: PSL’s schools are members of the Erasmus+ program and support students who plan to study in one of the European member states in the Erasmus+ program.

The AMI grant allows students to study abroad in an exchange program or to carry out an international internship. It can be cumulated with the Erasmus+ Mobility Grant. Please get in touch with the International Relations Office of your school for further information.
