IDEA Conference: Decolonial Ecologies

conf_idea_ecologies_decoloniales.png

For its final conference of the year, IDEA offers an essential reflection on current environmental issues through the prism of decolonial ecologies. Join us on May 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., via videoconference, for a fascinating roundtable discussion with Aude Chesnais and Marie Thiann-Bo-Morell.

For this thematic roundtable, IDEA invites you to explore a still little-known school of thought: decolonial ecologies. This meeting aims to shed light on the links between colonialism, environmental justice, and power relations, while highlighting knowledge and practices from the Global South.

With:

Aude Chesnais, specialist in ecological struggles from a decolonial perspective,
Marie Thiann-Bo-Morell, researcher and activist engaged in political ecology issues.
The speakers will be online, but you can attend the conference live and engage in group discussions at Mazet (5A rue André Mazet, 75006 Paris).
