Can we think of beauty for truth, truth for beauty?
The Beauty (s) research chair gives its first lectures and invites three figures from different disciplinary backgrounds to tell us how they grasp the notions of beauty and truth in their respective scientific or artistic practices.
Camille Couvry (University of Rouen Normandie) and Olivier Chiquet (Sorbonne University), who won the 2019 Dissertation Prize, will present their respective works in 180 seconds.
Sophie Cohen-Bodenes, a doctoral student at the LSP (Laboratoire des systèmes perceptifs, ENS - PSL) will present the scientific project she is developing for the research chair until 2022.
Access to the conference is free of charge, upon registration.
