Alexandre Gramfort
Alexandre Gramfort is currently senior research scientist at Meta Reality Labs in Paris. He works on machine learning technologies to decode surface EMG signals. Previously he was research director at Inria, leading the MIND Team in Saclay. He has worked on statistical machine learning, signal and image processing, optimization, scientific computing and software engineering with primary applications in neuroscience and biosignal processing. Prior to joining Inria, he was an assistant professor during five years at Telecom Paris in the signal processing and machine learning department and before that he was at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Harvard University in Boston. In 2015, he obtained an ERC Starting Grant for his project called Signal and Learning Applied to Brain Data (SLAB) . He is one of the co-founder of Scikit-learn.
