From January 10 to 31, the Mazet PSL Center in partnership with the CROUS of Paris presents the exhibition “Lights on Women in Science”, an exploration of the exceptional careers of women who have marked the history of science. Through portraits and stories, this exhibition highlights key female figures from various disciplines such as physics, biology, astronomy and social sciences. His goal? Promote women who are often little recognized, encourage young girls to engage in scientific careers and show the diversity of possible trajectories in this exciting field.
The exhibition, which takes place in several spaces of the Mazet Center, offers a unique immersion in the world of science, highlighting the contributions of these pioneers. This initiative aims to make science more accessible and inspire future generations, while raising awareness of the importance of the inclusion of women in all scientific sectors.
The closing evening, scheduled for January 31, will offer a special moment of celebration and discussion around the contributions of women to scientific advances. From 7 p.m., the evening will begin in the cafeteria with a buffet and a DJ set, followed by a concert and moments of discussion in a friendly and festive atmosphere. This is the ideal opportunity to discuss the issues raised by the exhibition and to strengthen the visibility of women in science, while enjoying an evening of celebration.
Come in large numbers for this closing evening to celebrate the commitment and achievements of women in science, in a spirit of inspiration, sharing and conviviality.
