The Law Degree is the foundation of the training of business lawyers at the University of Dauphine - PSL.

Learning outcome

• Develop knowledge related to core subjects in management sciences.
• Train legal experts to have good knowledge of private and public law as well as a base of “Common Law” and a doorway to other disciplines.
• Teach students to think for themselves and to grasp legal situations from a practical perspective with an approach that integrates the economic environment of entities and the international dimension of issues.
• Propose a legal approach from a political science, sociological, and political economy perspective, as well as action management and local, national, European, and international public decisions and the influence these have on socio-economic circles.

Curriculum

The bachelor's degree in Law consists of:

• a multidisciplinary core curriculum in Year 1 and 2

— Management: Introduction to Management, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting
— Economics: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics
— Law: Introduction to public law, Introduction to private law, Contract Law
— Humanities: Sociology, Political Science, Major Contemporary Issues, Languages
— Quantitative and Digital Sciences: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics

• in Year 3, a concentration to choose among the following ones

— Law - Organizational Management
— Public Governance and Law

Students wishing to deepen their knowledge in a particular field may do so through the certificates in “Legal Studies,” “Languages and Civilization,” and “Media and Journalism.”

Opportunities

Students holding a Bachelor of Law degree are encouraged to integrate one of the Master of Laws of the Dauphine - PSL. More generally, they can choose any other orientation requiring a bachelor's degree in Law.
