The result of collaboration between Dauphine–PSL, École Normale Supérieure–PSL, and MINES Paris–PSL, the Master’s Degree in Computer Science trains specialists in computer science in the broad sense, with a focus on organizational science, decision making and data science, and artificial intelligence.
The various tracks of the Master’s degree prepare students for either academic research or corporate jobs. The Master’s degree is affiliated with PSL’s graduate program in Computer Science.

PSL Phd track in computer Science

Learning outcomes

• Provide a high-level education on the topics of fondamental computing, data science and artificial intelligence and decision-making science.
• Focus on research (initial training) and top quality professional training, with many industry-side contributors (Miage program and apprenticeship)

Tracks

2 tracks in Master year 1 :

• Fondamental computing (ENS - PSL)
  → courses mainly in English (some options may be in French)
• Computer Science, Decision Making, and Data (IDD) (Dauphine - PSL)
  → courses mainly in English (some options may be in French)

4 tracks in Master year 2 :

• Algorithmic Science and Foundations of Programming track : Researcher, teacher-researcher, teacher, engineer, etc.: (ENS - PSL)
  → courses mainly in English (some options may be in French)
• : Decision support consultant, operational research, computing in functional departments, R&D departments, etc. (Dauphine - PSL)
  → courses mainly in English (some options may be in French)
• : Thesis in artificial intelligence, data scientist, etc.(Dauphine - PSL)

PHD TRACK in computer science
From the start of the 2024 academic year, PSL University will offer a new Phd track in computer science. Highly selective and entirely taught in English, PSL PhD tracks are 5-year fully funded programs intended for high-potential students hoping to become top level researchers, in France or abroad. Through its PhD Track Grants, PSL will support outstanding students for the entire duration of their graduate studies, from their Master’s to the completion of their PhD.
- Application procedure based on an application package (to be submitted online from 17 October to 12 December 2024 on ) and interview. 
Given the very high selectivity of the PhD Tracks, it is strongly recommended that you apply for the Master’s degree in parallel if you are interested in both programs. 

Tuition fees 2024/2025

Teaching location

The courses are given in the heart of Paris on the campuses of the PSL schools involved in the Master's program. The students may also spend part of their education abroad, taking advantage of the various international agreements of PSL and the schools involved.

School for registration: ENS - PSL or Dauphine - PSL, depending on tracks.
Degree delivered: National Master’s degree conferred by ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ and prepared at Dauphine–PSL or ENS - PSL.
