Anne Christophe is a CNRS research director in cognitive sciences and a specialist in language acquisition in young children. A graduate of École Polytechnique, she completed her PhD at the Laboratory of Cognitive and Psycholinguistic Sciences (LSCP), where she continued her career and became its director in 2010. She was a member of the French National Education Scientific Council, where she led the working group on early childhood. Deeply involved in education, she contributed to the creation and development of PSL’s Master’s degree in Cognitive Sciences, where she taught language acquisition.
Committed to science communication, she has participated in over a dozen documentaries on language development. She is also actively engaged in promoting women in scientific careers and helped establish the ‘Women & Science’ scholarships at ENS-PSL.
In January 2025, Anne Christophe becomes Vice President for Research, Science, and Society at ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳.
