Beginning of the 2022 academic year: series of scientific events centered on Water

Le

Following on from last year's series on the Anthropocene, this year's PSL scientific reunion explores the theme of water. An essential scientific object, particularly for the study of climate and in the geosciences, water is also a growing geopolitical issue, linked, among other things, to energy issues and therefore engineering. Covering 70% of the world's surface, the oceans are also at the heart of world history and its countless movements - human, commercial and cultural. An inexhaustible resource for the imagination, the support of numerous migrations and all types of ships, water is also at the heart of our stories and our imagination. It is thus a natural theme for PSL's scientific cycle, reflecting the multidisciplinary culture of our university and its international ambitions as well as the commitment of its communities to a sustainable world.
