Call for applications: Associate Professors 2025
For the sixth year running, ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ is launching a call for "attached professors" for the start of the 2025 academic year.
This scheme offers researchers (research fellows and research directors) from the CNRS, Inserm and INRIA affiliated to a Joint Research Unit (UMR) within the scope of ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ the opportunity to take part in the university's teaching activities.
This arrangement is part of the ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳'s Graduate Programs and the undergraduate "Sciences, Humanities and Society" College. As such, attached professors will take part in the responsibilities of a Graduate Program, as well as in teaching activities, including in establishments other than their own, notably within the framework of Masters co-sponsored by several establishments, as well as in the Sciences, Humanities and Society College (CPES of ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ and "Sciences pour un monde durable" bachelor's degree).
Duties of the Associate Professor :
- 64 hours of teaching/year (eq. TD).
- Involvement in the management of the Graduate Program.
- Commitment for 2 years, possibly renewable for a further 4 years.
Eligibility requirements:
To be employed by CNRS, Inserm or INRIA and housed in a UMR on the PSL site on September 1, 2025, i.e. the academic year in which his/her teaching load begins.
Applications:
Candidates must submit their applications, including an academic CV and a cover letter (max. 2 pages) indicating the UMR to which they belong to dir_recherche@psl.eu, by April 21, 2025 at the latest, clearly indicating the title of the position in question.
Selection procedure:
A jury made up of representatives of the component institutions, PSL University and the relevant Graduate Program will audition candidates, starting on May, 5th, 2025.
As the audition dates and times are fixed in advance, we ask candidates to make themselves available on the date and time that will be communicated to them.
To facilitate the organization of these auditions, they will be held by videoconference.
