El Mouhoub Mouhoud Elected President of ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ and the PSL Foundation

El Mouhoub Mouhoud’s candidacy, unanimously proposed by the Council of members to the ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ Board of Directors, was approved by a majority of the Board (28 votes in favor, 1 against, 0 abstentions) on December 17, 2024. His five-year term is renewable once. This vote reflects the trust placed by the university community in his vision to strengthen an international institution through ten strategic actions.
El Mouhoub Mouhoud was also unanimously elected President of the PSL Foundation (27 votes in favor) by its Board of Directors on December 19, 2024.
Biographie
El Mouhoub Mouhoud received his doctorate in economics in 1991 from Paris I Sorbonne. He taught as a University Lecturer at Université d’Evry Val d’Essonne, then at Bretagne Occidentale and Université de Paris 13, before joining Dauphine-PSL in 2006. His work focuses on the effects of globalization of the labor market, the competitiveness of territories, business relocation and offshoring, international migration, and development in the North African/Middle Eastern region. He has authored close to 100 scholarly articles and contributed to around twenty books, including Mondialisation et délocalisation des entreprises (2017) and L’immigration en France (2017). El Mouhoub Mouhoud has also served as Scientific Adviser at Commissariat Général du Plan, an advisory group to the prime minister (1995-2007) and as a consultant to the OECD, the UN, and the World Bank. At Dauphine-PSL, he has directed the Bachelor’s program in International Affairs and Development, the Master’s degree in International Affairs, and also cofounded the Master’s degree in Peace Studies.
