The France-Stanford Center for Interdisciplinary Studies invites proposals for collaborative research projects
The France-Stanford Center (SFC) for Interdisciplinary Studies invites proposals for collaborative top-level research projects between French and Stanford researchers. Applications should be submitted before March 1, 2021.
PSL and the SFC have agreed jointly to fund the PSL projects that win this call. Applications should be submitted before March 1, 2021 and all academic disciplines are eligible (including humanities and social sciences, STEM, the Arts). Projects may be funded to a maximum of USD 15,000.
Priority will be given to projects with the potential to develop new collaborations involving junior researchers, and to those leading to collaborative work on interdisciplinary issues. Applications must be submitted jointly by researchers affiliated with a French institution and researchers in any Stanford department.

The France-Stanford Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, founded in partnership with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to bridge the disciplines of the humanities, social sciences, sciences, engineering, business and law, addressing historical and contemporary issues of significance for France and the United States from a broad range of perspectives.
The France-Stanford Center for Interdisciplinary Studies was created in 2002 at the initiative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Stanford University. Le Center provides funding for research and events to Professors, researchers and students, both from Stanford and from their French counterparts. It was officially inaugurated in November 2003 and has since supported over 250 French-American research projects.
