PSL call for applications for a week of entrepreneurship study at Cambridge

Le

This PSL call for applications, intended for postdoctoral fellows, is for a week of intensive entrepreneurship study at the University of Cambridge.

PSL is a partner of the HEAPP (Higher Education and Enterprise Alliance for Entrepreneurial Postdoc Pathways) project run by the University of Cambridge in partnership with first-rate European institutions (Free University of Berlin, University of Glasgow, University of Innsbruck) and industry partners (BP, Schlumberger, Astra Zeneca, Shell, Deutsche Bahn, Swarovski). The objective of this project is to develop the entrepreneurial skills of postdocs in all fields, and to create an academic and industrial network useful for their careers.

As part of the project, PSL is inviting two postdocs to attend the IGNITE event held at Cambridge from July 9-14, 2017.  Flagship initiative of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, IGNITE is an intensive training program for young entrepreneurs. Participants will gain access to a unique experience for testing their entrepreneurial skills (courses, expert clinics, mentor sessions, tips and support from established entrepreneurs and innovators) and will acquire the tools, contacts, and confidence necessary for transforming an idea into a successful innovation!
All disciplines are eligible.

PSL will cover your transportation, housing, and meals.

Interested parties should submit the following, using no more than 15 lines, to PSL (karla.balaa@univ-psl.fr) by May 25, 2017:

  • The nature of your project, including underlying knowledge or technologies
  • Potential socio-economic impact (applications, users/recipients, markets, etc.)
  • Maturity of your project (important information that will not be used as a basis for discrimination: a project in its very initial stages may be selected if particularly brilliant and disruptive)
