PSL Presidential Search
PSL (Paris Sciences & Lettres) is seeking its president. This person, to be hired under the current statutes, will serve as president of both PSL Université and the PSL Foundation for Scientific Cooperation.
When PSL (Paris Sciences & Lettres) is created with its new statutes, he or she will take over the presidency of the university.
PSL is seeking candidates with the following profile:
- A high-level academic background, with recognized activity and publications in his or her field.
- Solid experience leading a higher education or research entity.
- The ability to develop, support, and share a strategic project.
- International experience.
- An excellent understanding of the context of PSL, higher education in Paris, and the Idex process, making it possible for him/her to very quickly grasp every aspect of the leadership of PSL, including preparing the application for renewing the Idex.
Candidates must apply by August 24, 2017. The application, which includes a curriculum vitae, a list of works and titles, and a statement of intent, should be sent by email to candidature.presidence2017@univ-psl.fr no later than midnight on August 24.
