Data science & AI for academics
The ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳'s DATA Programme offers training in data science and artificial intelligence to all researchers, faculty members, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers at ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳, tailored to their disciplines and levels (beginner, advanced, expert). This new "train-the-trainer" programme will provide you with the necessary knowledge to develop new courses incorporating AI into your curricula and/or to explore new research avenues.
Training Offered for the 2023 Academic Year as Part of PSL University's Internal School
This training will be conducted at L’Estrapade, 16 bis rue de l'Estrapade, 75005 Paris, with weekly 3-hour sessions (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), over a period of 18 months, totalling 234 hours of training (HCM).
The programme is delivered entirely in English (see detailed programme below). Participants will have the opportunity to choose from 11 modules and register via the PSL University internal school's platform. They are encouraged to select courses that best meet their needs and, within each class, attend lectures most suited to their preliminary knowledge of the subject.
- To facilitate participant choice, courses are categorised as follows:
- Beginner: Accessible to all
- Advanced: Suitable for those with a general background in mathematics
- Expert: Intended for individuals with mathematical training, even if they are not mathematicians (e.g., physicists)
Participants starting at the "beginner" level are expected to undertake only foundational courses during their first year of training. They may progress to advanced courses in their second year. Other participants are encouraged to begin with advanced courses.
Support for Developing New Course Modules
Researchers and faculty members who commit to developing a course module following this training will receive support from PSL University. For further information, please contact: justine.petit@psl.eu
