²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ asserts that informing people is a committed move; the University is thus partnering with the for the first time. This international short film festival was created in 2005 with the mission of promoting, supporting and mentoring young directors around the world. On several occasions, the festival worked alongside the United Nations on major social issues. On the occasion of the COP 26 which will be held in Glasgow next November, the festival, which has already generated 134 million views and distributed €310,000 grants for productions, is partnering this year with the UNDP (United Nations Development Program) and calls talented filmmakers around the world to raise awareness on the climate crisis with their cinematographic creations.

As the leader of the SDSN network, PSL is committed to implementing the sustainable development goals in its research and teaching activities and in its international relationships and partnerships policy. The signing of this partnership is in line with the actions undertaken by the university on sustainable development goal #13: Climate action. This thirteenth goal aims to strengthen the resilience and adaptive capacities of countries to climate hazards and disasters with, in particular, the deployment of actions to raise awareness of citizens to the climate change underway.

As a sponsor of the , the university plans to recognize students' contribution and commitment to climate action. The winner of the award will receive a €5,000 funding to develop a larger film project.

The best short films will be selected and broadcast online during November. A special screening of the pre-selections will be organized for the participants of the COP 26, a few weeks before the award ceremony in early December 2021.  Throughout 2022, the winning short films will be screened at international events.
