Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in partnership with Bpifrance, the PEPITE Award is granted every year to committed young entrepreneurs from one of the 33 Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centers (PEPITE). The list of the 32 2021 winners was released on October 7.
Thanks to transformation and finishing systems, as well as repair techniques that I developed, I brought back to life knitted pieces that have been too quickly discarded.
Margaux Guillerm, a student-entrepreneur enrolled in the PSL PEPITE program, is the winner in the "Ecological Transition" category for her entrepreneurial project "Knit Surgery". "Knit Surgery" is a committed fashion brand, offering upcycled clothing made from second-hand sweaters. The project was born in 2020 while Margaux Guillerm was a student in the EnaMoMa master's program at PSL.
