Héloïse Rey makes life easier for students with Study & Co.
During the Women’s Entrepreneurship Awareness week (semaine de sensibilisation à l'entrepreneuriat féminin), which will take place on March 5th-16th, ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ would like to invite you to meet student-entrepreneurs who have launched start-ups accompanied by the PSL-Pépite program. Today, Héloïse Rey tells us about her start-up, Study & Co., which proposes a platform dedicated to student life topics (housing, administrative procedures, transport ...)
PSL: At what age did you start to become involved in student entrepreneurship?
22 years old
PSL: What were your motivations?
After being confronted with student issues myself, I wanted to be useful to society, to be part of the digital transition of education and to contribute to the improvement of our world - primarily by facilitating equal opportunity access to academics and by promoting student mobility.
PSL: What personal fulfillment do you find in the management of your project?
I love taking risks and getting up in the morning without knowing how my day will unfold, the opportunity to learn at every moment, and roll with each obstacle. I enjoy thinking about all aspects of the project, seizing opportunities, meeting new people. I am excited about the direct impact my project could have on improving our world.
PSL: What qualities do you think are essential to this undertaking?
It is necessary to be optimistic, willing and ambitious in taking risks.
PSL: What is your biggest achievement?
To have arrived where we are! I am also very proud of our two Edtech Trophies, which validates the interest in and the impact of our service.
PSL: What was the hardest step?
The separation with a partner was not easy to manage.
PSL: What little thing boosts your daily life?
A good tea and a breakfast with my partner after arriving at the PSL Lab.
PSL: What message would you like to pass on to young entrepreneurs?
Go for it!
